Tell us about you?

I was born in Bunbury but have lived in Perth since I was 2. My family background is Bavarian though and still have strong ties to Germany. My partner and I live in St James (with our 3 cats) and regularly frequent the local cafes around Vic Park and Como.

Financial Services Background?

I started out in an admin role at another finance company back in 2014, with a view to move into financial planning. I ended up falling into being a loan processor and then a client manager for another broker and totally fell in love with it. I’ve been a broker now since 2015 and launched Vorteil Financial in July 2019.

Education?

I have a Diploma in Mortgage Broking & Finance Management and a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Economics and Finance

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I love my football (soccer) and currently play as a goalkeeper for Perth Saints FC, who we also sponsor.

What brings you to Mortgage Broking?

I decided when I was about 14 that I wanted to work with money, unfortunately, I only really knew about accounting at that time. I really sort of tripped and fell into mortgage broking after graduating from uni. I love that we can help people with a variety of matters and just be the person who solves problems for our clients. Whether it’s helping someone get into a property, grow their business, or just save some money - I get a real kick out of helping them achieve their goals.
